Springs Preserve!!!

When Eric was in London we decided to go to the Springs Preserve. It was a really fun, but really hot. I do not recommend going there at two o'clock in the afternoon in the middle of summer. Kade and Kyle liked it because they could run around and there was interesting stuff to see.

Kade standing at the entrance by the little stream.

Kyle running away from us.

Kade and Kyle looking at the stream. I couldn't get them to look at the camera at the same time, so I took pictures of them looking the same way.

There is an art gallery. Kade is standing by a new display. You can see he made sure he was carrying one of his trucks!

Kade playing in a mud basin. It shows how rain makes dirt go different ways. He really liked it.

Kyle and Connoe. Kyle had to sit in the stroller for a minute because he was too excited about the open space to fun around in.

Watching a movie!

A big spider in the air!

Kyle talking to the "people". He thought that was really fun!

He tried to help the man lift the box. No luck....too heavy.

Kade "talking" to the "people".

A pretty area of Springs Preserve.

Indians use to live in this kind of hut.

Lizards.

We saw more, but my silly camera went dead. There was this one area about recycling. It had a car that Kade really liked. Both of the boys liked the "house" that showed ideas of how to recycle. There was also a park that was fun, but we didn't stay too long because of how hot it was. Other than the heat it was really fun!!

Fourth of July

For the 4th of July we went up to Provo, Utah to the Stadium of Fire. We went with my mom, Bryan, Ryan, Jeff, and Erica. Of course it was totally worth it because Carrie Underwood was there this year. The boys were amazing during the whole trip. Eric, unfortunately, was not able to go because he had his own adventures in London. Here are the boys on the drive up.

Kyle being happy!!!

Kyle being grumpy.

Connor wondering where we are going.

After five hours of driving we finally arrived in Provo. We hurried and made sure we had everything we needed and headed to the BYU Stadium where we would meet Austin and Angie. Here is Kade and Kyle waiting for the "bus" to pick us up outside the hotel.

We put Kyle and a stroller so no one would need to carry him and also so he wouldn't run away. He can sometimes be a little wanderer.

Kade and Kyle viewing the stadium for the first time. In utter amazement!

Trying to get a family picture, but the boys just won't cooperate.

Kade and I.

Faces of Kyle throughout the night.

This one is a classic. I had no idea what he was doing until I took this picture and looked back at it.

He was really happy when everyone was doing the wave. When it was our turn I would lift him into the air. He thought it was really fun!!

Kade hung around Uncle Jeff the whole night. I really hope Jeff didn't get tired of him.

The show finally starting!!! Kyle was super excited to see the balls the girls were throwing around. Kade was really excited to see Carrie Underwood, but, because he couldnt see her up close, he was not very intrigued until the fireworks started. I think Connor was just happy having somebody hold him for a long time :)

There was no one sitting in front of us for awhile. Kyle liked to play on the other seat. He even liked to "talk" to the guy (in the tan shirt) sitting in front of him. I think Kyle just wanted to play peek-a-boo with him.

All three boys loved the fireworks. They all stared up in amazement, even little Connor. It was a fun night. Carrie Underwood and the fireworks were incredible, as usual. After the concert and fireworks were over we went back to the hotel. As soon as the boys were in their p.j.'s and lights were out, so were they. The next morning we went down to the restaurant and had breakfast. Angie, Austin, and Brynn came also. We then said goodbye and we were back on the road to Las Vegas. The boys were just as good as they were when we came up. That night we did lit the rest of the fireworks that Nana had bought. Here are the boys trying really hard to stay in their seats.

Where is Kyle? Kade is still in his seat.

Kade playing with a sparkler.

We hope everyone had a fun 4th of July!!! Thanks to mom and Bryan for making our holiday super fun!!! We are grateful for this wonderful country we live in. We have so many freedoms that, I believe, we take for granted almost every day. We are also grateful for all the people serving to make our country stay a free country. Happy Birthday America!!!

Nana and Papa Visit!

Nana and Papa came to visit us.
Nana was here for a week and Papa was here for a couple of days.

While Papa was here we spent a lot of time in the pool. We also went down to the Bellagio to see the Gardens and over to the Caesar's Palace Forum Shops. We were really disappointed they don't have the FAO Swharz (spelled wrong) toy store anymore. Instead we went to the Cheesecake Factory.

I could not for the life of me, get the boys to look at the camera at the same time. They did, however, look the other way at the same time.

Nana and Papa at the Cheesecake Factory.

Eric with the boys (what a handsome daddy).

Swimming!! Eric bought Tiki torches for the backyard.

The many faces of Kyle!!!

Kade trying to copy a move Eric was doing.

Nana and the boys, except Kyle!!

Doing fireworks with Nana! Kade was trying to hold Kyle from running after the fireworks and hurting himself.

Getting ready for the 4th of July!!

One morning when Nana was here we were trying to keep the boys quiet. They decided to crawl on our bed (except Connor, of course) and snuggle. Eric thought it would make a really cute picture. Our three happy snuggle bugs!!!!

We were all so glad to be able to visit with Nana and Papa. It always so fun to visit with them. Thanks for all you do for us when you are here. We really enjoy having you :) We love you!!
