Thanksgiving!!!

We are so excited for Thanksgiving to come!! We are also excited to see our family-Nana, Papa, Justin, Kelly, Brennan, and Reese. Kade and Kyle will almost have a live in friend to play with for four days. And what in the world will we do having a little girl in the house? It is going to be fun!

In honor of Thanksgiving, Kade's preschool had a little party last Thursday. They made these cute little costumes. Kade really likes wearing it and makes sure his brothers do not rip it. He looks like a really white Indian :)

Kyle saw me taking pictures of Kade, so of course he had to have a picture taken.

We definitely could not forget little Connor.

Here they are all together. Connor is more interested int he turkey in this one.

Kyle decided to walk away.

But came back. Don't they look thrilled to be having their pictures taken? Connor does!

Another picture of my cute little Indian.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!! We hope you have an incredible and safe time.

I know it is not Christmas yet, but I thought it would be fun to change the playlist to Christmas songs. Hopefully, it will help me get in the mood for the holiday season because I am just not feeling it right now.

On another note....Connor has finally grown his first tooth. We were at the park playing when Connor was putting yucky stuff into his mouth. When I went to pull it out I felt his first tooth. Yeah!!!

Miscelleneous Halloween Weekend Pictures

On Saturday we went to Red Robin. Kyle really wanted my moms lime out of her drink. She let him have it. Next thing we knew he was sticking the lime into ranch dressing and eating it. So gross!!!

Pictures of the boys, my sister, and I.

Halloween

Halloween was really fun this year! On Saturday we went to our wards Halloween party. They had lots of games, a "Haunted House", and Trick-or Treating from room to room. The boys looked really cute and they had so much fun getting candy.

Our cute little Spiderman (man-man as Kyle would say).

Kade and his friend Aston.

What big muscles Kade has!

Kyle coloring a cute Halloween bag.

Kade and Aunt Becky.

Even though Halloween was on Sunday this year we let the boys go down two streets. Kyle was hilarious! After the he received the candy he wanted to go into their house. When we told him he couldn't he would start to cry. We literally had to pick him to take him away from the house. Overall, they received a lot of candy and had a great time!

Kade's Birthday

Kade had a really fun birthday this year! He keeps saying over and over how he loved his birthday. He is already picking out gifts for next year. My mom, step-dad Bryan, and my sister Becky came up to celebrate with us. It was so nice to have family up here.

I let Kade open some presents before his birthday. As his cards arrived I let him open them. Kade would like to thank everyone for "donating" to his big truck fund. He really wants to buy a big truck when he gets older. On Sunday, he opened all his presents from mommy, daddy, Kyle, and Connor, except one before church. At church he did a fantastic job giving a talk in Primary and they sang a Happy Birthday song to him. However, he could not wait to get home to open the rest of his presents. He LOVES all of his trucks and cars. He also likes everything else he received.

He was excited to get a monster truck, however, he and Kyle cannot stop fighting over it.

Here is the guitar Grandma Fern gave to Kade. Kyle LOVES it and wants it to be his. Kade is a nice big brother though and lets him play with it.

He also received many educational presents that I am hoping will increase his desire to learn (math, reading, writing).
I was going to make a Pumpkin shaped cupcake cake, but decided it would to hard and time consuming. I ended up making cupcakes. Kade liked them!

Getting ready to blow the candles out!

It took him a couple of tries.

Kyle thought it was so fun blowing out the candles. He tried multiple times to blow them out before Kade did. I bet he can't wait for his birthday in December.

Connor is wondering what all the commotion is about.

A video of Kade opening presents from Nana and Papa and Grandma Fern. I am still trying to figure out what

IHOP Halloween Pancakes

On Friday, IHOP was giving scary pumpkin face pancakes to every child that came in. When Kade saw the commercial on T.V. he automatically wanted to go. On Tuesday we went to play group and some of us decided to go as a group. It was so much fun! The children loved their pancakes and playing with each other.

Kade enjoying his pancake.

Kyle attempting to eat his pancake. Connor watching everyone eat their pancakes. I did give him a couple of little bites.

Giving Thanks Month

Since November is basically the month to show gratitude I thought I would start making a list of all the things I am grateful for. Instead of doing just one blessing (that would be too easy), I have decided to name three blessings each day. That is a list of approximately 90 blessings. None of the blessings can be the same.

1. I am grateful I believe in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
2. I am grateful for the Christ' atonement that has made so many things possible.
3. I am incredibly grateful for my handsome husband. He is the world to me and I seriously don't know what I would do without him.
4. I am grateful for Kade. He is such a big helper and is turning into such a terrific little boy. I love him to pieces!
5. I am grateful for Kyle. He brings so much laughter, and messes, into our life. We love him to pieces too!
6. I am grateful for Connor. I love waking up to his happy little face. He is always happy!
7. I am grateful for my family.
8. I am grateful for my in-laws. I couldn't have asked for better in-laws. They are the best!
9. I am grateful Eric and I were sealed in the temple to our little family. It is an incredible blessing.
10. I am grateful for all my grandparents, including Eric's grandma's. Each one brings something special to my life.
11. I am grateful Eric has a job that provides for all of our needs and some wants.
12. I am grateful for a nice place to live. Our place isn't huge, but is a wonderful place to be and the boys are happy.
13. I am grateful all three boys are healthy.
14. I am grateful for my mom. I now understand why she did many of the things she did.
15. I am grateful for my sister Becky. I wish she lived closer.
16. I am grateful for my brother Jeff. He is always there for me. He always fixes everything for me.
17. I am grateful for my brother Ryan. He is really great with my boys.
18. I am grateful for my calling. I love teaching the little kids (9 and 10 year olds). I only hope they feel the Spirit and learn what Heavenly Father wants them to.
19. I am grateful for our car, even though the boys know how to mess it up. It hasn't ever, knock on wood, broken down on us or ran out of gas :)
20. I am grateful for plumbing. Taking a hot, relaxing bath wouldn't be the same.
21. I am grateful for my small ability to play the piano and flute. Music brings a peaceful spirit into our lives. It is also a great way to share my testimony.
22. I am grateful for all the new friends we have met in Foster City. Everyone has been really kind and accepting.
23. I am grateful my body is healthy and fully functioning. Running after the three little monkeys would be a lot harder if it wasn't.
24. I am grateful for our computer. It helps me keep in better contact with those I love and care about.

Keep checking back for more....
