The Boys!!

Connor and Kyle had their well check ups a couple weeks ago.

Connor:
weight-9 lbs. (50%), height-21.5 inches (50%), head-(10%)
Everybody loves Connor. He is starting to laugh and smile at the boys. They love to fight over him. However, Kyle does sometimes get a little upset when I am holding him. Mostly when he is tired or hungry. He is still waking up between 2-3 times a night. Other than that he is an incredibly easy and mellow baby. He likes to lay on the ground and watch his crazy brothers run around. Sometimes when he can't see them he tilts his head upward and looks like he is about to roll over. I was worried about having three so close in age, but it has been fun so far. What a cutie patootie!!

Kyle:
weight-21.5 lbs (10%), height-31.5 inches (50%), head-(10%)
*Kyle is really adorable right now. I don't know if it is just because of his age, his personality, or both. He loves to laugh and smile. He likes to make us laugh and smile too.
*Kyle looks up to Kade and always wants to play with what he has. If Kade has left the room Kyle will start playing with what Kade had. When Kade enters the room he runs away or tries to hide. It is really funny to watch. Not funny for Kade though.
*He loves to dance....in circles. He tries to sing while he is dancing. He will make his voice go high and than low.
*He really loves his daddy!! He is excited every time he comes home.
*He can say many words such as ball, nigh (for night night), ni (for nice), dog, mama, dada, boo, bye, hi, and hot. I think "mine" and "no" are his favorite two words. He is learning how to say "more" and "all done" in sign language.
*He likes to go on walks and to the park in our new stroller.
*He loves to give hugs and kisses to Connor....and Chloe.
*Kyle's favorite objects to play with is the vacuum, anything in our bathroom, any cooking tools, almost anything he is not suppose to have.
*He loves to be outside.
*He really likes to snuggle and cuddle (when he wants to).
*He folds his arms for prayers....for about five seconds and than is up running around.
*He loves to eat. I feel like I am feeding him constantly.

Here he is with his favorite teddy bear. It is the only thing he gets really defensive with. He doesn't let anybody else have it. If they do he starts to get upset and says "mine".

This is his towel. He LOVES taking baths. When he gets out of the bathtub I tell him the little puppy dog needs to get dressed. I think he thinks he is really cute in the towel too because he laughs and smiles when he looks in the mirror.

Swinging, smiling, and laughing.

Kade:
Kade didn't have his well check up. He only gets them yearly now. But I wanted to write down a few things he likes.
*He LOVES his cars. He has a ton of cars. He likes to drive them on our bed which he says is his "road".
*He LOVES cell phones. If you have a phone, watch out. Kade will make sure he holds it for you.
*His favorite movies and shows to watch is UP, Scooby-Doo, the Chipmunks, CARS, Sesame Street, Agent Oso, Handy Manny, and Mickey Mouse.
*He use to be afraid of putting his face under water but since we got the pool he is getting use to it.
*He is extremely helpful to me.
*He is protective of his stuff, but will, most of the time, share.
*He is getting really good at saying his prayers.
*He still loves to have books read to him.
*He knows all of his shapes, most of the numbers from 1-10, alphabet, and colors. I have tried to teach him how to write the alphabet, but he doesn't seem that interested right now. He can write a C, T, and H.
*When I am emptying out the dishwasher he will put the silverware away. He has started to help me put the other items away too.
*When done eating he will throw his bowl and spoon in the sink.

I absolutely LOVE my three boys!!!
Cute pictures of the boys.

Here is a cute one of just Kade and Connor.
Kade and Kyle like to fight over who is going to hold him.

When we go to the park Kyle likes to run towards the parking lot. I asked Kade to bring him back. When I turned around this is what I saw.

Even though they like to fight, they still love each other.

Playing together at a different park by our old house.

Becky's Outfit!!!

Aunt Becky gave this outfit to little Connor. Since she lives so far away I took pictures so she could see him in it. Next time Becky sees him he will be much bigger.

Thanks Aunt Becky!! We love you!

Power of Prayer

Today our lesson in Relief Society was on the power of prayer. The teacher really stressed having family prayer In my mind I kept thinking of our dog Chloe. She was taken the day before I went to the hospital to have Connor. I thought for sure someone would come knocking on our door asking if she was our dog. However, that did not happen. We than moved and thought for sure we had lost her. After four weeks I hung up missing dog posters. We would definitely get a call, but that didn't happen. A couple weeks went by and I was talking to my Relief Society President from our other ward. She told me she kept trying to call me, but the phone number I kept giving her was the wrong one. That night I laid awake thinking "did I put the wrong phone number on the flyer?" I checked the flyer I saved on the computer. Sure enough the wrong number was on the flyer. That morning I decided to print out new flyers. Before we left I had the boys kneel down with me to ask Heavenly Father to help us find Chloe. The day went on. We printed the new fliers on bright pink paper. We did all we could do to find her. That very night we received a phone call from the people that had her. We were so excited!! Eric was shocked. After we arrived back home with Chloe the boys were ready for bed. When I was talking to Kade I asked him if Heavenly Father had answered prayer. He said "yes, he did". I told him we needed to thank Heavenyl Father for what he did for us. We made sure we said a prayer thanking Heavenly Father for helping us find Chloe, expecially since it had been six weeks since we lost her. I hope that Kade will remember this experience and that he will have plenty more just like it. From this I know having family prayer is important. In the future it will help us when we have problems harder than just finding a silly dog.

Something I want to remember....At the end of Relief Society, as the prayer was being said, I looked at Kyle. He never folds his arms. He is usually walking around doing what he wants to. Today, however, he had his arms somewhat folded throughout the whole prayer. I am so proud of him!!! I really hope the boys will remember when they need help they can say a little prayer.

Connor's Blessing

On March 28, 2010 Connor was blessed. After we decided to do it on this Sunday I realized it was exactly a year from the day we were sealed. This date will always be a special date in our families history.

We were excited to have my family, my grandparents, and my mother in-law, Starr, come to the blessing. Eric did a really good job!! When the blessing was done everyone headed over to our house for some yummy food and visiting time. We love having little Connor in our family!!! He is so precious!

Our future missionaries!!!

Thanks to everyone who came, especially those that traveled to be with us! What a wonderful day it was!!

Easter

On the Tuesday before Easter our ward had an Easter egg hunt for the children. This was Kyle's first Easter egg hunt. Both of the boys had a lot of fun and found many eggs. Kade would let us help him find eggs. Kyle, on the other hand, wouldn't let anybody hold his hand or help him. He was so funny. He would pick up an egg than sit down and want to look inside it. I had to keep pointing out other eggs and telling him to put the egg he had in his football basket. Overall, he was excited to find the eggs. After they searched for eggs, they went and played on the jungle gyms. They had a blast!

Kade and Kyle did two other egg hunts (at our house and my mom's house), painted eggs, and found Easter baskets. I unfortunately don't have any pictures, but we had a wonderful Easter! Lots of fun memories.

Happy Easter!!

On Friday my mom and I took the boys to see the Easter Bunny at the mall. Usually I try to go early to avoid the long line. However, with all the changes I completely forgot to go early. When we went today we were there for nearly three hours. During that time Kyle decided he was tired and started acting out. I experienced my first public tamper tantrum-laying on the floor, crying, kicking and screaming child (Kade NEVER did this). Right before we arrived to have the picture taken, Kyle decided to walk around this tree that had a very small ledge around it. Go figure he falls and completely smacks his face. Now he was crying really hard. My mom walked around with him until we were able to take pictures with the bunny. All three boys did really well. Kyle did smile a little, but the photographer didn't catch it. After the picture was over Kyle fell asleep in Connor's car seat. Connor soon fell asleep too. I laid Connor on top of Kyle. It was really cute!! Too bad I was all out of film. It would have made a great picture. Thanks to Grandma for coming and helping out, even though she had a million other things to do! At Christmas I must remember to see Santa early and before school gets out.

Kade waiting in line to see the Easter Bunny.

Here is Kyle in the car seat. He fell asleep within a few minutes.
He made sure he had his sucker.

We hope everyone has a great Easter and General Conference weekend!!
Don't eat too much candy.
