First Talk!!

Kade gave his first talk in Primary today. Last week the teacher told me Kade volunteered to sing a song. Throughout the week I tried working with the First Article of Faith song with him. It just wasn't going well, so I decided to have him give a talk. He did an awesome job!!! I thought he would be scared, but he wasn't at all. His talk was on Jesus healing a blind man and how He is the Son of God.

Little Connor

Connor is already six months old. He is still a really happy baby. We love him to pieces. He has been eating cereal for awhile. Last week he started to eat more solid foods. He first tried green beans. At the end of this week he will try peas. Yummy!! He is almost sitting by himself. His brothers love him. Kade makes him laugh a lot. Kyle likes to lay on him. He also likes to climb into Connor's crib and wake him up.  If I remember right Connor is in the 50% for weight and height. He doesn't have very much hair, but it is starting to grow longer.

He likes to play in the exersaucer. He chews on anything he can.

Today Kade said that Connor will be crawling by his (Kade's) birthday. We will see! If he is like his brother's than he probably will be. I still wish Connor and Kyle were farther apart. There are times when all I want to do is hold him and I can't. Instead, I have to play referee with Kade and Kyle. Life is definitely going fast and I cannot believe Connor is six months old.

This is Kyle in the exersaucer at about the same age.

Here is Kade about the same age, in the same exersaucer.

Walks!

Since the weather is nice here in Foster City we go for a lot of walks. Plus, there are three parks within walking distance.

Kade playing in the sand. He really likes to not wear his shoes.

San Francisco Zoo

We have decided to visit a different site every weekend that we can. For our first official weekend in Foster City we traveled to the San Francisco Zoo. The drive was short (only about 20 minutes). The zoo is located on a road next to the Pacific Ocean Coastline. It was freezing!!!! We were glad we wore long pants, closed toe shoes, and jackets.

On the bottom left is a picture of a big gorilla and a baby gorilla. Right when I took the picture the big gorilla knocked the baby down and went inside. Everybody that saw it started laughing but felt bad for the little baby. The big gorilla knocked the baby kind of hard.

Here we are eating. Kyle had a delicious hot dog. There were a couple of sea gulls flying around waiting for people to drop their food. One sea gull even flew onto the table and took part of Kyle's hot dog. Kyle thought it was so funny he got off the table and teased the sea gulls with the hot dog. The same sea gull quickly took the last of his hot dog right out of his hands.

Waiting for the train.

Kyle takes is teddy bear EVERYWHERE!

Pointing to the carousel.

When we were done at the zoo we drove up to San Francisco. We had no clue exactly where we were going. We just drove. Here is what a lot of San Francisco looks like. There are a ton of houses crammed very close together.

Connor really likes the tiger we bought him from the zoo. He even "talks" to it.

We had a fantastic day. We couldn't believe it was almost 4 by the time we got home. We will have to go again and see what we missed.

Our New Home in Foster City!

After 3 weeks of packing, 9 hours of driving (with three boys and a dog), and a hassle with the movers we have arrived in Foster City. We planned on moving into our townhouse on Saturday. On Thursday the movers came and packed all of our stuff. Right before they were done the foreman informed us that we would be receiving our items on Tuesday, not Saturday. Everything was going smoothly until this happened. I started to panic because I did not pack enough clothes to last us until Tuesday. After many conversations and Eric being upset they agreed to deliver our load on Sunday morning.

They arrived at 7:00 a.m. They left at around noon. We were so glad our stuff was in our house. Now it was time for me to start organizing. I took before and after pictures of our townhouse. Here is the building we live in. We are parked in front of our garage and our door is to the right.

Our front entrance. We put the bench from Becky's wedding under the window. I am trying to look for a beautiful wreath to hang on the door.

The boys running up to the door. Kyle is going the wrong way though.

The kitchen. Before we moved in the property managment remodeled everything, so all the appliances and cabinets are brand new :)

After....I still need to put the red curtains up and I am going to put their "name" pictures above the windows.

This is the view they have from their window.

I don't have an after picture yet. I am still trying to organize it and get rid of any clothes we don't need. Even though the closets are walk-in they are tiny.

Behind our porch.

Areas around our little community. The first one is one of the two pools.

The water channel and walk/bike way behind the community. The water is a little low in this picture. They say it rises when the tide come in, usually late afternoon.

When we exit our townhouse and turn left there is a little "lake" with a ton of ducks in it. The boys love to feed them. They can also fee them from the porch.

We really like our new place (it would even better if we had family close by). I thought Las Vegas was a melting pot, but there are a lot of different ethnicity's here. We look forward to visiting all of the fun attractions in Foster City and the Bay area. We are also excited and look forward to the time when anyone is able to visit :) :) :)
