Kade will be going to kindergarten in just a couple of weeks. He is still my big and best helper! It will be hard to have him gone, but maybe good for the other boys. He still really likes Scooby-Doo, Wipeout, cars and trucks. He is an extremely picky eater. He is doing well with his reading and math. He probably thinks I am mean because I have him do some reading and math before he gets to watch T.V. and play. Kades favorite color is green. We are so happy with the "young man" Kade is becoming and can't wait to see how he grows this first year of school! I think he enjoys having Eric and I as his primary teachers. He is excited for soccer to start back up soon!
Kyle is still dramatic, especially when he is tired. He LOVES going to his Sunbeam class at church. You wouldn't think he is shy, but for some reason he is at church. He sometimes has a hard time doing something when asked. I have to bribe or threaten or ask a million times. I have even had to lock him in Kade's room. On good days though all I have to do is ask a couple of times and he will say with a big sigh "okay". Every now and then he will surprise me and do something without me having to ask him. I think having Kade gone for a few hours every day will help him be more "responsible" and helpful. He LOVES the color orange. He likes to sing. He always makes up his own songs. He is starting to draw faces. They are hilarious!! He drew him and Kade once and they had huge heads with really big, round ears, little eyes and mouth and no body, but little feet. I am glad he is drawing something because it shows he is developing. Kyle will eat almost anything I give him. In fact, I might order something for me and he will end up eating it too. He has started to recognize more colors and shapes. Everything isn't just orange anymore. I plan on working with him more when Kade is at kindergarten. Kade likes to tell him the answers before he even gets to think about the question. We just love Kyle to pieces though! Something funny Kyle said....when we were getting our brakes fixed we walked up to Target. It was kind of a long walk especially for a little three year old. On our way back to Meineke Kyle starts crying and saying really loud "Mom, I can't walk myself". I didn't have room in the stroller but just hearing him say that made me laugh. Silly boy! We eventually made it back and sat down in the nice office with air conditioning :)
I love Connor's big smile!! Other than when the boys are being mean to him he is always happy and "laid back". He just goes with the flow. He is finally going to all of nursery. He might cry for the first minute or two but then he is fine. He loves to snuggle still. For the most part he likes to play with the boys. He is still around me a lot. The other two will be upstairs playing and he will be down here playing by himself or bugging Cam if he is awake. Connor is really helpful too! He will run and get Cam's blanket or something else that I might need. However, he is always messy. He is always making a mess of something. I will give him a bath and a half hour, 45 minutes later his face will have something on it or his shirt will be all dirty. He is a good eater too. Like Kyle, he eats my food instead of eating his own. He takes his time. When we are at the store, if he is not in the stroller or the shopping cart, he walks really slow. All of us has to stop and wait for him. He is still struggling with helping clean up his room, but he is still so little. He has time to learn :)
You can tell from this picture how messy he can be, but still so cute!
Little Cam is adjusting to being in our family and having three big brothers. They still love to give him kisses on the head, help feed and hold him. He has started sleeping 6-8 hours every night. At his two month appointment he weighed 9.4 lbs and was 23 inches long. When he does wake up in the middle of the night for a feeding I love it (except for the lack of sleep). That is when I get to hold him without anyone bothering me. He is starting to smile and "talk". It is soooo adorable! We all love him and think he is a great final addition to our family!
