This October we were super busy. We decided to take Kade to Disneyland for his birthday present this year. On top of that I think we went to three different events that the boys got to dress up. All of them were pirates this year, except Cam. He was a parrot. I loved all of their outfits. I even got to dress up with them on a couple of occasions. One imparticular time was when I went to help at Kade's school. It was fun to see him around his school friends. We have a lot of pictures, so this post will be rather long.
This is one of our first Halloween crafts we made, Spider Hats!!
Connor did not want to get in the picture with his on :(
Our first big adventure/activity in October was going to Disneyland. This was basically Kade's birthday present for this year. We were excited that Nana met us down there too!!
Here they are on the way down to Disneyland!! They were so excited!! Just a little bit about our trip to Disneyland. It was stressful!! The traffic to get to Disneyland was crazy. Unloading the boys and making sure we had everything was crazy. Once we were in the park it was really crazy. It was so crowded you could hardly move or manage to not hit somebody with our stroller. The whole time we are worried that one of the boys might get lost. However, it started to be more fun when the normal crowd was gone and it was just the Halloween crowd. Next time I say we go on a Tuesday, not a Friday.
Of course Kyle is already trying to poke his face. Poor little guy!
Our very first ride was, of course, Pirates of the Carribbean. While we were in line a nice fellow pirate gave all the boys these gold coins. They thought that was pretty neat!
Little Cam sat in his sit almost the entire night. He looked so cute in his parrot costume, but we were worried he was getting hot. He still looks really cute in his little pumpkin hat and Mickey Mouse skeleton shirt that Nana gave to all of the boys.
After we saw these guys we were still waiting for Eric and Kade. The lines for the candy were pretty short now so Starr grabbed the boys' Halloween bags and went Trick or Treating for them. She would just keep going in the same line and then we would swtich. I am so glad we did not waste out time in the big candy line. We still managed to get at least a half a bag for each one.
One of the last events we went to was the parade. It was a fun parade.
I am glad we stayed for it.

After the normal crowd left the lines for all of the rides were really short. I don't know why people would stand in line for candy at Dineyland. I thought that was a waste of time. So, instead of standing in line for candy, Eric and Kade kept going on Splash Mountain. A couple years ago when Kade went on Splash Mountain he was terrified. Now he couldn't get enough of it. While we were waiting for them we noticed that the boys could meet Winnie the Pooh, Eyore and Rabbit. Kyle and Connor were so excited!! You can just tell by the big smile on their faces.
They also took a picture with Starr and I in it.

There were pumpkins that had certain costumes on. This was the boys' favorite, a pirate.
Kyle wasn't into Jake and the Neverland pirates yet.
I am sure if he saw these guys now he would be super excited.
Princess Pumpkin. All of the Disney Princesses came walking down.
They really did look like the cartoon princesses.
Cowboy Pumpkin for Toy Story.
