Fisherman's Wharf Aka Pier 39

Today we went up to Fisherman's Wharf. We really enjoyed seeing all the boats, seals, Alcatraz, and everything else. I thought it would really stink, but surprisingly it didn't. That made our sightseeing a little bit better. Here are some pictures and a video of what we did.

On our way in we saw the San Francisco Giants Stadium. There must have been a game going on because there were a lot of Giant fans walking around.

We also saw what Kade called a spaceship. I actually thought it looked like a missile/rocket.

We parked on the top of a five story parking garage and this is the view we saw of Pier 39.

This is the Bay Bridge.

There was this awesome kite store. It had all kinds of flags and wind tunnels. We bought Kade a really cool Blue Angel Airplane kite and Kyle a little windmill. The wind was blowing just enough to keep it turning. While we were walking around we saw a man playing the bongo drums and a lady playing a flute for money.

We are on part of the Pier where you can walk out to the water.

Alcatraz is in the picture above. Lazy seals are on the docks in the picture below.

Video of what we saw. Sorry the picture is not that great.

We had corn dogs for lunch. The boys LOVED them!

Kade insisted he push Kyle.

At the end of Pier 39, in the middle of the stores, was a big two story carousel. The boys insisted they wanted to ride it.

Both Kade and Kyle enjoyed the ride. Kyle enjoyed it so much he wanted to stay on. Of course he couldn't so I had to take him off the carousel while he was kicking and screaming. Meanwhile, Eric was watching Connor and talking to a Boise State fan.

I just realized I did not take any pictures of Connor. He was in his stroller and fell asleep most of the time. However, I did snap some of him after we arrived home. I think he was super happy to be out of his stroller and car seat.

Next time we go we would like to go to the Aquarium of the Bay and someday go on a boat ride. The boys would love that!!!
